With prize distinctions from numerous international competitions and appearances at major European festivals and concert venues, the ensemble brings a high level of professionalism and artistic reliability to every performance. Their experience includes solo appearances with orchestra, chamber collaborations across diverse formations, and projects spanning classical masterworks to contemporary repertoire.

At the core of the duo’s artistic identity lies a deep commitment to interpretation. Their performances emphasize tonal balance, polyphonic transparency, and narrative structure, revealing the full expressive range of two nylon-string guitars. Valentina Krempatić

Valentina Krempatić is compelling young guitarists, combining technical brilliance with expressive depth and stylistic versatility. Her playing is marked by clarity of tone, natural musicality, and a communicative presence that connects immediately with audiences.

A prizewinner of more than forty national and international competitions, Valentina has received numerous first prizes and special awards across Europe. Among her most distinguished achievements are multiple top prizes at the international Guitar Art Festival in Belgrade, special prizes at Forum Gitarre Wien and the International Music Competition in Schweinfurt, as well as repeated first prizes at the Serbian National Competition. Her artistic excellence was further recognized through annual scholarships awarded by the Serbian Ministry of Culture and Education for outstanding young talents.

Valentina’s artistry extends beyond traditional boundaries. Alongside her classical training, she cultivated a strong background in jazz, pop, and vocal performance. In recent years, she has appeared not only as a guitarist but also as a singer accompanying herself, demonstrating a rare combination of instrumental refinement and vocal expression. Her chamber music collaborations span a wide range of instrumental constellations, reflecting both openness and musical curiosity.

As a soloist, she has appeared with the Belgrade String Orchestra “Dušan Skovran” at the prestigious Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment Hall, performing Antonio Vivaldi’s Guitar Concerto in D major (RV 93). She has given numerous solo recitals in Serbia and abroad, establishing herself as a confident and charismatic stage presence.

Born in Sombor, Serbia, she began her musical journey at the age of four and quickly distinguished herself as an exceptional talent. After graduating as the top student of her generation from the Music High School in Belgrade, she continued her artistic development internationally and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at the University of Music and Dance Cologne in the class of Professor Goran Krivokapić.

Boris Tešić

Described as a “gentleman of the guitar,” Boris Tešić is recognized for his intellectual depth, refined tonal culture, and compelling stage presence. His artistry combines structural clarity with expressive warmth, creating performances that unite elegance and intensity in equal measure.

An internationally active soloist and chamber musician, Tešić has appeared at major venues including the Royal Festival Hall and Bolivar Hall in London, as well as the United Nations Headquarters in New York. He has been featured at festivals such as Forum Gitarre Wien, the Bath Guitar Festival, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. A finalist at the prestigious Tárrega Competition in Benicàssim, he is also a laureate of numerous international contests.

His repertoire reflects both breadth and artistic curiosity — spanning core classical works, late-20th-century repertoire, and thoughtfully conceived crossover projects, including his acclaimed arrangements of music by Mike Oldfield. Across these diverse contexts, his playing remains guided by clarity of phrasing, architectural awareness, and narrative flow.

Beyond the concert stage, Tešić has released six solo albums and several chamber recordings, demonstrating his commitment to repertoire development and collaborative artistry. His discography includes projects with distinguished chamber partners and repertoire extending from Romantic song literature to contemporary works.

A dedicated pedagogue alongside his performing career, he has served since 2013 as lecturer at the Music Academy Kassel, mentoring young musicians from around the world. As a D’Addario Artist since 2016, performing on a Boguslaw Teryks guitar, Tešić continues to pursue a highly personal sound ideal defined by purity, balance, and expressive nuance.

His artistic approach unites passion, intellect, and curiosity — where breathing, phrasing, and storytelling merge into a distinctive and coherent musical voice.
